The day started off pretty well as daddy brought me to register for my class 2B license.

Was really excited and all, but something rly mood-poopyish happened. I felt so shitty I couldn't stop crying in public and I rly felt so embarrassed.

Thought my day was going to suck but thankfully for friends who care and cheered me up.

The day ended on a high note with me, ky, matty and bryan gambling.

Today, I took some time to play with my dog.

I told myself that I would not talk about anything fandom-related on this blog (cos lian-x and beng-x are out to playyyy) but I am just SOOOOOOOOOOOO exasperated as to why Mr. Park couldn't even come on stage for a minute or 2 for "The Leaders". -inserts dying face-

Sigh.

It's one of those strange days where I have a little more time to myself and am able to relax at home in the chilly comfort of my tiny room which sets me thinking about this whole year.

It was quite an eventful year, but I have to admit through all the fun, experiences and laughter, I did see the process of my personality and character becoming more and more warped, cynical and pessimistic.

However, I've finally managed to find something that I'd really love to do and pursue as a future, and I think I've sorted myself out in many various areas through plenty of difficulties this year. Now let me try to recall some of the eventful milestones of the year.

1. DPA 2009!

Probably one of the best times this year was when I entered poly a little earlier. Made loads of new friends, with people not only from FMS but everywhere else too. Had an amazing orientation programme and an unforgettable overseas trip to Bintan (5 STAR RESORT K) with the DPA people. Things were much simpler and easier back then. Lectures were small. Hector was fun. Makan place wasn't always crowded. Canteen one was still around. Every morning you get to see everyone meeting up at Cheers.

Its stuff that you won't get to experience again. And I regret letting loose of my grasp on some of these special friendships because it's getting kinda hard to grab them back again.

2. To Kill A Mockingbird musical

Maybe many people don't remember this but I sure do. It was one of my first real productions for the school and it was so much fun. I really appreciate Ms Tnee for still allowing me to be a part of this production even though I couldn't make it to 90% of the rehearsals. But she trusted me and all and it was a great experience overall. :)

3. Had my first tongue piercing, and then got killed by my parents for it.

Though my parents went ape crazy and whatnot, I don't ever regret getting my piercing. The only thing I regret was letting it close. :'(

Initially, I was only curious as to how the pain felt like, but gradually I really started to like it.

Maybe I'll get it done again in the future. :)

4. Letting go of my 16 year history of having grossly silky straight hair, and embracing unruly, curly (sometimes) hair.

Nuff said. At least I dont look like I'm balding everyday.

5. Eye infection + 4 days hospitalisation + I CAN NEVER WEAR CONTACTS AGAIN :(

SELF-EXPLANATORY. The hospitals are evil!

6. Overseas trip with Doreen& Bettie. Then meeting Cass up in HK!

It was so much fun. I'd luvvvv to do it all over again. *ahem* Cassssssssss.... :D

7. Got a (more or less) long term job!

I can't believe how long I have lasted at Uniqlo.

Srsly. I never knew I had so much determination.

Money drives me. Period.

I guess these are the more significant things in my life this year...

This is the most depressing Christmas I've ever had.

Work was pretty good today cuz I started at 8am. Time just passes and all. I could get used to this... but some of my friends are still doing closing shift and that makes me sad cuz I love us having supper tgt.

I did get damn cranky and sleepy after my 1hr break cuz I ate some meds to keep my fever down. DROWSY and sleepy totally.

630 came and acorn (aka ky) finally came after being an hour late in meeting me. We were so goddamn hungry we marched to the Heeren for Pasta De Waraku and ate like crazy. Srsly. Super expensive pl0x. After that she insisted on going back to 313 and to Uniqlo. Spent like wuttttttt 60++ bux there. After that we happily went to F21 and spent 100+ over there AGAIN. Like wtf, my shopping expenditures this month has already exceeded 500$!

Laughed a lot, cussed a lot and acted stupid a lot today, but it was all really fun.

Met Grace halfway too and things got crazier towards the end.

I thought today was going to be a shitty day cuz I didn't get to go somewhere with daddy this morning.

But I had a lot of fun at work today! I was very entertained and kept laughing. :D I have fun colleagues :)

However, things did get a little zlvkjalkrgjafs around 8-ish. The crowd was terrible and you simply cannot envision the kind of MESS that's happening in the store.

It's been hard this week.

I just realised that I haven't really attended many funerals in my life (and thank goodness so).

The only funerals I've ever attended were my grandparents' ones. But because I was really too young back then, I wasn't really close to them and nor do I really remember anything.

But this time... it's very different.

He was an excellent cook, he knew that and was proud of his ability.

He always told me that a hainanese's value is in their cooking. I remember being very annoyed when he kept pestering me to learn how to cook hainanese food. But I'd give everything to have a chance with him in his tiny, cramped kitchen, trying to remember how to cook this and that.

How afraid were you when you were alone at night, battling the disease?

You've no wife nor children... you must have felt very lonely. And afraid.

I wished I had visited you more often. I wished I made time.

E-learning week! Had Wed-Fri off. Spent that time lazing around at home.

Oh how I miss lazing around at home. ;_;

Ever since I started working, I jump at any opportunity when there's free time to do... absolutely nothing useful. I still have my radio report (YES STILL UNDONE) to complete as well as some speechcomm tutorial thingum. I'm not doing anything about it.

Instead I went to watch You're Beautiful.(New object of fangirlism alert) I didn't want to watch it initially cuz I absolutely detest waiting for the episodes to come out one by one and wait for them to be subbed... But nooooo I watched it in the end and now I'm going crazy just waiting for the new episodes... :(

This weekend marks the starting of my demonic 12-hr shifts!

Pray hard that I don't die. :33

It's been awhile since I've blogged.

Well school's been fun and pretty much enjoyable I can say, though work&school is kinda tiring.

It's nothing unbearable at this point of time though.

Speech comm tutorial was fun (although our tutor wasn't Sharon Ismail..).

Everyone was really hyper today and we laughed a lot. ;D

After class I meet Winona, Quan and Kenneth at Ourspace. I swear, things between Quan and I will never change. It just seems so natural for us to piss each other off.

His blonde hair is (N). Everytime I look at it I feel my scalp burning.

Have I mentioned how much of a love/hate relationship I have with this sem's timetable?

I have about 3 hrs of class everyday, I start around noon and end late afternoon-ish. Great for sleeping in and lazing around for dinner or something. Great time to work on certain days as well. But on days (like today) where I end at 3pm, I usually don't like to go home straight after school but everyone else is busy (Doreen @ SSC , Bettie being all sports maniac-y etc.) and I'd feel sooooo lost because I have no idea what to do as well. Also, I never go home before 6pm because the weather can be so effing hot.

Went back to Jurong today with my brother and daddy.

I miss the place! I want to move back NAO.

The first week of school's been good and it's nice to actually be out and socialising with friends instead of rotting away at home or working your ass off. The class is much closer now, thanks to the chalet. Lol.

Our lecturer for Radio seems a little too perky... a little like Henry Thio. But he's (quite) fun so I guess that makes everything okay.

I cannot use words to explain how mutha-thankful I am for the fact that I am not working today.

Working both yesterday and the day before; reaching home at 1-ish, knocking out and struggling to wake up every morning is no fun. Plus working on days where the naiser colleagues aren't around = blah.

Can't wait till end of the month cuz that's when all the moolah'll be coming in.

Heard the O level is starting ( Yesterday, today, tomorrow whichever I can't remember.)

Certainly doesn't feel like mugging with my fringe tied up in a bun was stuff that happened a year ago.

How time flies, and how futile my efforts to grasp it tight.

First day of lectures! Can't believe that I actually forgot how it was like to sit in the LT for hours listening to the lecturers drone on and on. I almost fell asleep.

And did I mention? I was late! And it's only officially the second day of school. I even called a cab during peak hour. :( Am so depressed.

Wricomm sounds terrible and my love for writing (if any) has totally vanished into thin air. Radio was dry today cuz it was all about the history of Radio. Like I care, honestly. Speechcomm was okay cuz our lecturer is SO HOT I couldn't stop staring at her.

Had lunch with Doreen and Bettie at SIM and once again forgot how terribly crowded it could be during lunch time. The none DPA people had to go for Socpsy lecture (MUAHAHA!) so Nicole and I headed to the library with the intention of catching a movie.

We ended up bitching and fangirling. And camwhoring hehe. It's been ages since we last hung out like that.

Back to school today!

Had a really hard time trying to get up this morning... :(

Guess after I've started working it has been a while since I got decent sleep. And when I finally did (aka yesterday night) I couldn't wake up!

Was supposed to meet Ganesh at 1230 but I came at 1 instead. I know, some things just don't change don't they? I love Ganesh's new hair btw, it reminds me of chocolate swirls. Yum.

I think it's cause it's the first lesson of Com2issues, I actually thought it was pretty okay!

I mean I am a totally lazy person who doesn't give a shit about current affairs ( I know, great sin) so this class is might actually be beneficial for me. Plus, we're going to be discussing issues regarding Women and their rights! GODDDD I have endless things to say. I love.

Caught up with a few MCM girls and we were creating a din at Cheers. Saw a few DPA people but was feeling weird cuz idk, we don't hang out anymore... despite the fact that I'd love to.

But I just don't know what is happening with everyone right now and I'd feel so left out. :(

OMGGGG WHY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO USED TO BE CLOSED TO ME ALL LEAVING MY LIFE NAO.....

Went to KY's house and watched Speedy Scandal. I absolutely adore the kid. Need.To.Kidnap.

The holidays are finally over! There are both regrets and excitement I guess.

Regrets cuz 1) I could've slept more 2) I could've worked more 3) I could've cleaned my room

but excitement cuz 1) HOLIDAYS CAN GET BORING! 2) Next semester is slackathon.

Work was terrifying this weekend. The amount of people navigating around the store is enough to make me feel so claustrophobic and nauseous enough to confine myself in the fitting room just folding the endless sea of clothes.

Nonetheless I'm really starting to get a hang of work. Just hope that I can continue to commit even when school reopens.... Sigh. :(

I've decided to (try to) move back to blogger, after a decent hiatus from this hosting site for about... 3 years?

I've done so because I've realised that tbf@lj is my holy sanctuary and I wanna make it private,

where I can bitch freely and whine about anything under the sun and yet not have it being spread across the globe like wildfire.

But I don't know, since I'm so disgustingly fickle I might just stop blogging all together because obviously I'm losing the interest and touch to this whole online diary thingum.

I would love to start this on a better note and try to sound a little more profound but I actually have work tomorrow and the wise thing to do at this point of time is (sadly) to retreat to bed.
